Students continue to visit Burnside Care Home

Establishing links within the local community is not only an integral part of Silverline Care's values, encouraging these relationships is something that our teams enjoy.

Last year, Burnside Care Home in Laurencekirk started to work with Mearns Academy high school where two students visited the home once a week and spent time with our residents.

The experience proved to be hugely beneficial for our ladies and gents and the youngsters and so the school and Burnside have agreed to continue the tradition this coming year.

Here are some pictures of John and Kyle who both happen to be art lovers. John will be spending time with Kyle every Thursday morning during term time - they will be working on various art projects and learning how to use different paints and materials.

The pair are also keen football fans and we're sure they are going to enjoy each others' company tremendously.
