Music is so meaningful to many of us. Hearing a song that you like can have such an impact on your mood and can even impact your outlook for the rest of the day.
Particular tunes or genres of music have the power to spark memories and take a person back to a certain era or time in their lives.
With this in mind, this week Burnside Care Home invited Marvin from entertainment productions to visit the home and put on a show featuring the music from Calamity Jane. And, our residents just loved it!
Together, the ladies and gents were singing along and having a wee dance.
At the end of the show, the group all joined in and sang their favourite song by Doris Day - Que Sera Sera.
