Sea themed adventure for Spiers residents

Here we have Neil, Jackie and Betty, who are residents at Spiers Care Home, on a day out to the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine.

With a packed lunch to keep them fed and watered, our lady and gents perused the artifacts at the museum. They also enjoyed watching the waves crashing on Irvine beach which they found atmospheric - thankfully from the comfort of the Silverline Care minibus.

On their journey back, the group meandered through Troon and made a pit stop at the local Morrisons for a coffee.

The wind might have helped blow away the January blues but it certainly did not deter this lot who enjoyed a lovely day by the sea.
