Beach ball fun at Burnside

As well as having one-to-ones and scheduling activities tailored for each individual's needs, the Silverline Care staff also love to organise activities which bring Units or even the entire home together.
At Burnside, for example, staff and residents used a beach ball to play catch and played a game with the parachute! The game is not only a lot of fun but it encourages gentle exercise of the upper body and is a great way for residents to work together.
Bell, for example, loved catching the ball and she was having a great laugh as she encouraged others to participate.
Meanwhile, Davie was absolutely thrilled when he managed a superb catch. He was always reaching out for it and tried again and again to recreate the moment of magic.
Such fun had by all!
