Laurel Bank seeks to offer safe indoor visits

Following the easing of local lockdown restrictions, Laurel Bank Care Home in Wilsden will be allowing relatives of our residents to arrange indoor visits.

Safeguarding the health, safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff must remain our top priority and therefore only one designated person from each family will be permitted access to the care home for the time being.

Ben Byrne, Manager of Laurel bank said: "Our plan is two enable two residents to receive an indoor visit at a time. This will be done on an appointment basis so anyone looking to arrange a visit should call reception to do so.

"We are still promoting garden visits over indoor visits and relatives and loved ones can continue to contact the home to book these as well."

At Silverline Care, we are continuously adapting the way we work to respond to Coronavirus so we can welcome new residents, provide safe visits and protect those who already live and work with us.

Many of our homes are currently providing safe garden visits for residents who are well enough. These have been organised on an appointment basis and have been extremely helpful in enabling us to reunite families.

Once again, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we try to strike a balance between expanding safe visitation and keeping our homes Covid free.

To book an appointment or for further information, please do not hesitate to call the home directly or click here to fill out the contact form on Laurel Bank's page.
