Celebrating the 'bard' at Spiers Care Home

Yesterday, some of our homes held special events to commemorate the life of the bard (poet) Robert Burns, who was born on January 25, 1759
At Spiers Care Home, for example, residents enjoyed lots of nice treats. They were lucky to have been given a basket full of delicious items from the Coop in Beith and some lovely tablet from Elanna, the home's Laundry Assistant.
Our ladies and gents also enjoyed lots of singing along with a Scottish concert from Songbook Melodies. A great big thanks for making this celebration even better.
