At The Beeches Care Home, residents and staff had a wonderful Bank Holiday afternoon.
The weather was glorious so they couldn't miss an opportunity to spend some time in the garden where our ladies and gents had ice cream or a cone. There were three different flavours to choose from however triple chocolate ice cream seemed to be the resounding favourite.
Towards the end of the outdoor session, our residents played 'question ball' which involves a beach ball with questions written on it.
Residents kick the ball to one another and are encouraged to pick a question from the ball and answer it.
All the questions and answers lead the residents share their past experiences, reminiscence about their childhood and family members.
It was so lovely to see residents chatting and getting to know each other on a deeper level.
What a lovely afternoon with a delicious treat.
