We’re here to support you

The decision to move a loved one or yourself in a care home is never any easy choice. We’re here to support you and offer a range of care services to do so.
Your care with us begins now.

Residential care

For those looking for residential care, we have expert carers who offer personal care to those who need that little bit of extra support such as washing and dressing. We also have a carefully curated menu which covers a variety of dietary requirements.

Nursing care

We have a hard working team of nurses available 24/7 to support our nursing needs and dementia care. We take an individualist approach to our care and each resident will have a bespoke care plan created on admission to ensure their needs are met.

Dementia care

Every person is different, and every person with dementia should be taken care of according to their own individual needs. Our team of experts are here to provide that level of care and Chestnut Lodge has been designed to provide this exceptional level of care.

Respite care

In special situations and based on availability, we offer the opportunity for shorter term stays, from those recovering from illness or a hospital stay, or maybe you are looking to give the caregiver at home a break.

What people say about us

“I have found the staff and management to be very caring, friendly, helpful, and understanding, also through COVID which has been a challenging time for everyone, all staff and management have handled the situation extremely well”

~ Geoffery W. (son of resident)

“It’s now coming up to 3-years, and as a family, we continue to be very happy with the care provided. It was a difficult time over the Covid lockdowns as we were not able to visit Mum for over a year. The staff did everything possible to keep us connected, including facilitating video calls. It’s lovely now for me and my brother to be able to see her again on a regular basis.“

~ Teresa J. (daughter of resident)

“My brother moved into the home in May 2019. It was a difficult decision for myself and my family to make. At that time, he was an alcoholic and could not look after himself in any capacity. The carers and team took over his care with compassion and gave him an extra four years, which we never expected. He was given the care and support he required. “

~ Lynda Q (sister of Resident)

“It’s a very friendly and welcoming care home. The staff are very friendly, helpful and caring. The home is modern, very clean, fresh and full of light and freshly redecorated. My mother (93) has settled in quite easily and feels at home.”

~ Philip S. (son of Resident)

Meet the manager,
Comfort Chibuye

I am a nurse by profession, I qualified as a nurse and midwife 30 years ago. I have a lot of experience working with the elderly in care homes as a nurse, home manager and in the Regional team and care is my passion.

I believe I have all values of the 6 Cs that underpin the culture and practice in social care. The values and mission of Silverline Care are very much at the core of my practice. Putting people first is my priority.
